National parks in Romania

Romania is known for its great natural beauty . You can admire them to a large extent in mountainous areas . One of the country's most beautiful ranges is Piatra Craiului , with numerous karst phenomena. Tourists also appreciate Fagaras through which the famous highway leads, known as the Transfagarasan Route . If you are looking for less crowded mountains then go to Retezat . On the other hand, one of the most important places in Romania in terms of nature lies outside the mountain areas. It is, of course, the Danube Delta , entered on the UNESCO list .
