Danube Delta

The Danube Delta stretches between the territory of Romania and Ukraine . In terms of size , it is the second largest river delta in Europe . Due to the silt and sand carried by the river, it gets a little bigger every year. The Danube Delta is a bird refuge and home to many different plant species.

Due to its high biodiversity , it has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List . Every year it is visited by many tourists who want to commune with the stunning nature. During excursion cruises by boats, they can admire the local flora and fauna and cut themselves off for a moment from the rush of everyday life.

For whom?

Not everyone will like the Danube Delta. If you are interested in ornithology and plants , then your stay in this corner of Romania will be extremely interesting for you. However, if you are counting on spectacular views, you are unlikely to find them there.
