Otavalo

Otavalo is a city located north of Quito , famous for its two markets . Every Saturday, locals sell their indigenous products there, i.e. sweaters, jewelery, paintings, sculptures, beetroot, squash and nails. And a few more. Besides this market, you will also find an animal market here. Otavalo is wonderfully situated at the foot of the Imbabura volcano.
