Quito is the second, highest-located capital in the world. It was built on the slopes of the Pichincha volcano, at an altitude of 2,850 meters above sea level. The Ecuadorian capital boasts the largest and best-preserved (largely colonial) old town in Latin America. In its area you will find a large number of monuments, starting with churches and ending with beautiful tenement houses or museums.

It is thanks to the historic old town that Quito has come under the protection of UNESCO. The capital of Ecuador is an inexhaustible source of inspiration - both in terms of sightseeing and views. Due to its location, you can count on many points from which you will be able to admire the vast panorama of the city and the mountains. Of course, as befits a large agglomeration, a lot happens here also after dark. And all this is due to the numerous pubs that guarantee space for really good fun.
