Machalilla

Machalilla is a national park in Ecuador named after the prehistoric peoples who inhabited these regions. But they got sick and don't live there anymore. The national park was created to protect dry tropical rainforest and several uninhabited islands just off the coast. All of the exceptional beauty of the beaches ! Most tourists stay in Puerto Lopez .

The Park includes Isla de la Plata , but due to its unique qualities, I have placed it in a separate place. If you have never swam with whales , there will be a great opportunity to do so around Puerto Lopez. The park also includes some of the most beautiful beaches in Ecuador .
