Cabrera

The island of Cabrera , part of the Balearic archipelago , is a real gem of this part of the Mediterranean Sea. Its name means "Goat Island" . In the past, these animals inhabited it quite in large numbers. Together with eighteen other islands, it forms the Cabrera National Park . Boat trips are organized from Mallorca , from two ports: Portopetro and Colonia Sant Jordi . Due to the fact that Cabrera is a protected area , local authorities limit the number of tourists that can stay there at any one time. Hence, you can meet with opinions that it is a real, paradise island.
