Sunny Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea . Poles love it because the sun shines on it 300 days a year, the beaches resemble Caribbean landscapes, charming cities delight with monuments, and the wine never ends. In addition to the drink of the gods, holidays in Sicily are added to the flavor of the gentle sense of unease flowing from the mighty Mount Etna , which is not soothed by the stories of the Sicilian mafia. The attractions on the island seem to be endless, and one stay is certainly not enough to get to know it in its entirety. Here's what's especially worth seeing!

Sicily

For whom?

Sicily is an island for everyone. If you like to bathe in the sunshine, warm water and beautiful scenery, the beaches will attract you for hours. Or maybe you prefer intensive sightseeing instead of lazing around? Sicily is dotted with beautiful cities with a rich history enchanted in the monuments. These are both places on the front pages of guides and those forgotten by tourists. The island will also allow you to discover beautiful nature and party in clubs in the evening until dawn.

Sicily island

Due to its size, we have divided Sicily into several smaller parts. You will find descriptions of each of them when you visit Mount Etna , Caltabellotta , Taormina , Cefalu , Monreale , Palermo , Erice , San Vito .

Relais Antiche Saline

My wife and I stayed at the Relais Antiche Saline guesthouse, west of Trapani. It is located near the saline. It offers beautiful views and peace, which is so much needed during your holiday. The room was cozy, air conditioning and WiFi worked without any problems. We really liked the breakfasts, because they served a lot of Italian specialties.

La Terra Dei Sogni Country Hotel

I spent a five-day holiday in Sicily at the La Terra Dei Sogni Country hotel, which offers a beautiful view of Mount Etna. It is not located directly on the beach, but it makes up for this fact with a large outdoor swimming pool. Very nice service, very good meals. The room had a simple interior design, but I liked it.

Le Maestranze Deluxe Rooms

I highly recommend Hotel Le Maestranze in Sciacca. You can see that the architect and interior designer put a lot of work into it. The hotel really looks great and is comfortable to live in. Its great advantage is the views from its windows. You can admire the nearby beach and part of the coast.

Maison De Trazegnies Marina Di Ragusa

During our honeymoon to Sicily, my wife and I stayed at Maison De Trazegnies Marina Di Ragusa. This is quite an expensive but exclusive boutique hotel. Our room was beautifully decorated - modern furniture, intense colors and patterns. There was a vast panorama of the coast from the hotel grounds. Apart from the fact that we had a jacuzzi on site, the beach was right next to it.
