Porto Cervo

Porto Cervo is the main resort of the so-called Emerald Coast (Costa Smeralda). You will find them in the north of Sardinia. It is one of the most snobbish and exclusive places to relax not only within this island, but also throughout Italy . Until the 1960s it was quite a wild and not very developed area of Sardinia.

But just at that time it was discovered by an Arab investor who decided to turn it into a vacation spot for the rich. Fortunately, this was done without much interference with the landscape. As a result, this 55-kilometer stretch of coast still impresses with wonderful beaches, coves and nature. Of course, there are also expensive hotels, magnificent villas and lavish restaurants. If you would like to spend a bit more time in this part of Sardinia, stop in Porto Cervo. The town was situated by a picturesque bay . In its close vicinity you will find two exceptionally beautiful beaches, such as Cala Granu and Grande Pevero . You will be able to experience the resort life, full of glitz but also a bit calmer atmosphere.

For whom?

Porto Cervo is a dream destination for a bit more lazy vacation. If you want relaxation, nice beaches and a high standard of services, plan a longer stay there. It is worth adding, however, that Porto Cervo is rather a proposition for a bit more wealthy people . The prices here are much higher than those in other parts of Sardinia.
