National parks in Paraguay

Paraguay's National Parks cover vast areas of the country. This is because most of Paraguay is uninhabited. Covered either by the Pantanal marshes or by the arid Chaco lands. The greatest natural attraction is undoubtedly the Laguna Blanca . It is the only beach in this country, even though it has no access to the sea. The mighty water dam Itaipu Dam becomes the runner-up in the classification. The Iguazu Falls are in the same region, and they have their part even on the Paraguayan side; in the form of Saltas del Monday . I described them on the occasion of Itaipu. Probably if it weren't for the monumental waterfalls next door, Saltas del Monday would certainly be a huge tourist attraction in Paraguay.
