Cuenca

Cuenca is an extremely interesting city, the third largest in Ecuador . It has very interesting buildings, with cobbled streets and all kinds of churches and chapels. Walking around the city you get the impression that there is literally a church or a plaza on every corner. Personally, I think that this is the second most beautiful colonial city in Ecuador (after the capital Quito). But don't mention it to the townspeople, they will murder you for such talk.
