Brasov

Brasov (Brașov) is one of the largest cities in Romania , located in Transylvania . For those who prefer trekking , it is an excellent starting point for exploring the Carpathians . There are many hiking trails from the city and its surroundings. However, Brasov is not only about mountains.

The city is famous for its rich history . Its medieval old town attracts a huge number of tourists. One of the biggest attractions is the cable car ride up the Tampa Hill , from where there is a beautiful panorama of Brasov. Undoubtedly, this Romanian city can be liked. And no matter what the purpose of your visit, you will have a nice time here.

If you like sightseeing, you will love Braov. It will be a great destination for a not too intense city break . During your stay, you will be able to visit the most important monuments, as well as take a walk or spend time pleasantly in one of the atmospheric pubs. On the other hand, if you prefer active recreation , then Braov can be treated as a base for shorter trekking or a several-day trip into the Carpathians (e.g. to Dracula's castle in Bran )
