Bjelasnica

To the southwest of Sarajevo rises Bjelasnica - a peak reaching 2067 m above sea level. On its slopes there is the Bjelasnica ZOI'84 ski resort . As in the case of Jahorina , also here, as part of the 1984 Winter Olympics, there were downhill competitions.

However, gentlemen competed on the slopes of Bjelasnica. The winter sports center located there is developing very intensively. Recently, two modern lifts have been launched, which take skiers and snowboarders to the very top of Bjelasnica. Cross-country skiing trails and numerous hiking and biking trails can also be found in the immediate vicinity.

Undoubtedly, Bjelasnica is a great place for enthusiasts of active tourism . Skiers (including cross-country and backcountry), snowboarders, cyclists and hikers simply do not have a chance to get bored.
