It is not only a popular resort at the junction of two seas : the Adriatic and the Ionian, but also an important place related to the history of Albania . It was here that in 1912 the independence of this country was proclaimed. Currently, tourists are attracted not only by hotels, beaches and a ferry port with connections to Italy, but also by monuments.

Vlora is a great proposition for both sunbathers and people who like to visit . What's more, it can be an excellent starting point for exploring the area abounding in interesting places.

Vlora Backpackers Hostel
I chose a hostel because it was one of the more economical accommodation options in Vlore. This is not an option for beachgoers, as the nearest beach is quite far away. But you are in the city center. That is, the so-called something for something. The hostel offers private rooms and dormitories. It is also possible to stay overnight in tents set up in the garden.

Hotel Nika
Hotel Nika was a hit in my case. It is not located directly on the beach, but you can walk to the sea in just a few minutes. The advantage of the hotel is the opportunity to taste fish and seafood prepared by the owner himself. I haven't eaten such delicious dishes for a long time! The rooms are beautiful, you can park your car safely, the area is quiet.

Hotel Liro
While looking for a hotel with a beach, I found Hotel Liro. It is located quite far from the center of Vlora. However, this is not a big problem, because you can get to the city by taxi. But the beach and the views are so phenomenal that I didn't use this option very often. The rooms are tidy, the breakfasts are very tasty and the service is friendly. What more could you want?

Hotel Divers
I chose Hotel Divers because of its low price. But I must admit that this place surprised me positively. I expected lousy conditions, but instead I received a nice room with a beautiful view of the sea. The only downside is the proximity of the gas station and quite heavy traffic on the road running right next to it.
