Llogar

Llogara, and more specifically the Llogara Pass, is one of the most scenic places in Albania . It separates the Çikës range to the east from the Athanaz peak and the range continuing west. It is child's play to get there, because the SH8 road connecting Vlora with Saranda runs through it. From the north, the road climbs steeply up to a height of 1027 m above sea level on the pass. Then, it descends towards the sea with incredibly scenic serpentines. This route is very popular among motorcyclists, but car drivers will also have a lot of fun to ride. Unless the goats wandering on the slopes of the mountains decide to throw them under the wheels.

For whom?
There is probably no one who would underestimate the charm of Llogar Pass . First of all, it is a place with an unforgettable panorama of the Albanian Riviera and Greek islands, including Corfu , which dominates the horizon. The pass can be a convenient starting point for trekking both in the Çikë mountains and to the Athanaz peak. People who just want to rest for a while, can sit on the terrace of one of the restaurants operating here.
