Sao Paulo
Autor, Travelbay
Sao Paulo, known by the locals as Sampa , remains off the beaten track for Brazil tours. This is probably a surprise for many people. After all, Sampa is not only the largest and most populous city in the country, but also the entire continent. It can overwhelm the amount of skyscrapers and buildings. The lack of access to the sea and the impression of a concrete jungle mean that São Paulo remains in the shadow of colonial Salvador and the famous Rio de Janeiro .

Despite this, the city of Sao Paulo boasts a very rich nightlife , world-class restaurants and a small colonial old town. Visitors may be surprised by the cultural diversity. The city has the largest concentration of Japanese outside Japan . Hence, you will come across Sushi at every turn. The Italian influences are equally strong, so there will be plenty of pasta and pizza. Another large minority are the Tatars, so there is nowhere to eat tartare.
For whom?
São Paulo will appeal to lovers of big cities and cultural diversity. You will not come across organized groups of tourists there, but you will experience a typical Brazilian life. Nightlife and party enthusiasts will not be disappointed. When Paulistas (Sao Paulo residents) are not working, they party most often.
