Maranhenses

Lencois Maranhenses is considered one of the most beautiful national parks in Brazil. The town of Barreirinhas is the gateway to this place. From there, the road to the park is open, you only need to hire a certified guide . Unfortunately it is necessary.

With a hired guide, we get by boat or 4x4 car to the blue lagoons and huge dunes, which are abundant in the Maranhenses Park. Some of them are even 40 meters high. The most beautiful lakes are located near the towns of Atins and Santo Amaro. It's really worth taking a look at them. The water in these lakes is incredibly clear.
