Jericoacoara
Autor, Travelbay
It's hard to believe that the fabulous Jericoacoara has not yet been trampled by tourists. It is on the list of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but still remains a small fishing village that hardly appears on the covers of travel magazines. Why? The main reason is the limited accessibility, because Jericoacoara can be reached by 4x4 car from Fortaleza (after many bumps and paddocks). Secondly, the whole area has become a National Park, so the Brazilians cannot build it up with concrete and roads. So much the better. And while steps have recently been taken and construction has started, the airport is still too far from Jeri's heart. There are no ATMs on site, so pick some more reales in advance!
