Mikulov is a small town in Moravia, right next to the Austrian border . Most people think of it as a point through which they pass on their way to Vienna . However, is it worth devoting a little more time to it and planning at least a short stay there? It turns out that yes! Because Mikulov is one of the most beautiful cities in this region of the Czech Republic . First of all, it is surrounded by hills . On one of them, called the Holy Hill, there are four chapels . The road to the top is quite steep, but the views are compensated by the effort put into the hike. In Mikulov you will also see a charming old town and the castle towering over it . You will also find a lot of walking routes in the area, and you will quickly find the idyllic atmosphere of these sites.

Hotel Volarik

During two visits to Mikulov, I stayed at the Volarik Hotel. And I will definitely go back there. First of all, the hotel is located in a modern, well-appointed building. It is surrounded by a nice garden. The rooms are very neat. Delicious and varied breakfasts. The price for the stay is not too low and not too high.

Mikulov Inn - penzion Země

I had the opportunity to stay overnight at the Zeme guesthouse with my family. We chose it mainly because of the price and on this basis we did not expect miracles. It turned out that the conditions were perfect, the hosts were very nice and the food was delicious. In addition, the guesthouse has a convenient location - it is easy to get to, and the most important attractions are within a short walk.

Hotel Galant Mikulov

Hotel Galant is certainly worth your attention. I spent one night there. But if I ever pass through Mikulov again, I will stay there again. It offers a beautiful view of the hills surrounding the city. There is a swimming pool and SPA on site. The price of your stay includes a delicious breakfast.

Stajnhaus

A stay at Stajnhaus is an option for those who want to fully feel the atmosphere of Mikulov. The guesthouse is located in a beautifully restored building in the Old Town. This is one of the most atmospheric places I have stayed in the Czech Republic. Not the cheapest, but the conditions are excellent. The rooms are modernly furnished, with a great sense of style and current trends.
