Madrid is the capital and the largest, though not the most popular city of Spain. In this respect, it is second only to Barcelona . There are no beaches in it, but amazing architecture, museums with valuable works of art and picturesque views, which ensure the unique location of the city at 600 m above sea level. One thing is certain - there is no question of boredom both during the day and at night.

Axel Hotel Madrid - Adults Only

My stay in Madrid was to combine both intensive sightseeing and relaxation. That's why I chose the Axel hotel. It is located in the center, so I did not waste valuable time traveling by public transport. There is a swimming pool on the hotel's roof and you can admire a beautiful panorama of the city from there. Nice, helpful staff. A big plus is that only adults can stay there.

The Hat Madrid

The Hat is a mega atmospheric hostel located in the heart of Madrid. Thanks to it, I could fully feel the atmosphere of the city. Great conditions - clean, quite spacious. In addition, nice staff who speak several languages and breakfast is served every day. This hostel will definitely be a good option for people who like to explore and look for cheaper accommodation.

Petit Palace Arenal

During a weekend trip to Madrid, I stayed at the Petit Palace Arenal. This is a pleasant, intimate hotel located on Calle del Arsenal - one of the pedestrian streets. The area is quite quiet. In the evenings, even with the window open, you couldn't hear any screams or parties. The room was stylishly decorated.

Catalonia Las Cortes

The Catalonia Las Cortes hotel perfectly combines tradition and modernity. Frescoes on the ceilings, interestingly designed furniture, nice selection of colors. The interior is a bit palatial, but I felt good there, not like in a museum. Unfortunately, the price for the stay is quite high. But for one or two nights I think it's worth paying a little more.

Vincci Soho

Hotel Vincci Soho has all the characteristics of a good hotel. It has a convenient location - close to the center, but in a quieter street. It offers unique interiors, full of plants, nice graphics, furniture and accessories. And yet I go to a hotel so that I don't feel like I'm living at home, but in a special place. The price is not too high, but not very low either.
