Elbrus

Elbrus is the highest peak in Europe, although the French are arguing strenuously as to whether their Mont Blanc near Chamonix should be officially recognized. Three villages lie at the foot of Elbrus. This is Cheget Polyana, Terskol and Azau in turn. In the last one you will catch the cable car to the top. Not to the top, but perfect for skiing.
