Vama Veche
Autorka, Travelbay
Vama Veche is quite an unusual point on the map of Romania. This small village on the southern tip of the Romanian coast, right on the border with Bulgaria , is perhaps the most hippie place in the country . Tourists, tired of mass tourism, flocked there in search of an alternative.

Of course, the biggest attraction of Vama Veche is the long sandy beach. In addition, festivals and concerts are held in the village. The Sunset Festival is organized periodically, filling the gap left by the iconic Stufstock. Although in recent years Vama Veche has become a bit commercialized, the atmosphere there still differs significantly from what other Black Sea resorts offer.
For whom?
If you are looking for a place where you will want to fully feel the relaxation of the holiday , and you also count on having fun , then you should absolutely visit Vama Veche. The village will also be a good stop before your onward journey , for example to Bulgaria. The border crossing is just a stone's throw from Vama Veche.
