Hunedoara

Corvin Castle is located in Hunedoara and is known as one of the largest medieval strongholds in Europe . The first fortress in this place was built at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. In the 15th century, incl. At the request of Maciej Corvinus, the then king of Hungary, the structure was expanded and transformed into a Renaissance chateau.
