National parks of Latvia

The most beautiful natural areas of Latvia are concentrated around… water. First of all, the Gauja National Park , which is the largest and oldest protected area in this country, deserves attention. It is centered around the river of the same name, near which you can find numerous cliffs and caves. An interesting proposition is also Daugavas loki , i.e. meanders of the Daugava River. In search of beautiful views and nature, it is also worth going to the coast to stroll along the beautiful beaches.
