Pristina, the capital of Kosovo , just like Podgorica , is not very beautiful. However, unlike the Montenegrin city, you can find a lot of interesting and intriguing places in it .

Pristina has an interesting, but quite specific architecture , the most famous example of which is the library building , once considered one of the ugliest buildings in the world. The capital of Kosovo also has preserved monuments from the times of the Ottoman Empire , which together with new buildings create a highly contrasting mixture. Pristina is also quite a party, student city , offering a slightly more alternative atmosphere that is also conducive to fun.

For whom?

Visit Pristina if you are bored with ideal, beautiful cities and looking for unusual places . The capital of Kosovo may be liked, although it does not make the best impression at first glance. However, the atmosphere there quickly spreads to everyone. And the coffee served in local cafes is one of the best in the Balkans!

ODA Hostel

I have already stayed at ODA Hostel twice and if I come back to Pristina, I will definitely use it again. The place is absolutely brilliant. Starting with the atmosphere there, through comfortable beds with curtains, thanks to which you can have a bit of privacy even in a multi-person dormitory. If someone likes cats, two cats that live there permanently will be an additional advantage.

Prishtina Center Hostel

Since I was traveling alone, I decided to stay in a hostel. My choice fell on Prishtina Center Hostel. It is indeed located in the very center of the Kosovo capital. It offers excellent conditions. It's clean, the interiors are quite designer, and the price for the stay was ridiculously low.

Hotel Sirius

My wife and I stayed overnight at the Sirius Hotel. It was the best possible choice. The hotel is right next to the center. It offers a brilliant panorama of the city from the rooftop restaurant. In the evening the view is amazing! As for the conditions, we liked everything. The room was quite large and bright. However, we both miss the breakfasts there the most, which were small feasts.

Hostel The White Tree

My friends and I spent two nights at The White Tree hostel. It is a perfect place to chill out. Even though it is located practically in the very center, it allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The shared dormitory was really fine, although ours was maybe a bit too dark. Apart from that, we had no reason to complain.

Hotel Begolli

Hotel Begolli is a proposition for those who focus on luxury and comfort. Very nice staff, nice decor, pleasant surroundings. Breakfasts could be a bit better, especially considering the price you pay for your stay. But if someone is not very picky, they will eat too much. I walked from the hotel to the center at a slow pace for 10 minutes.
