Livigno is one of the most famous Italian winter resorts. It is situated in the north of the country, at an altitude of 1,816 m above sea level . The ski season here usually lasts from November to May. During this time, for those willing to ski on one or two boards, perfectly prepared ski runs with a total length of 115 km , extending from 1,800 to 2,900 m above sea level, are served by 6 cableways, 13 chairlifts and 11 T-bar lifts.

Another advantage of Livigno is the fact that the sun shines here most of the year, guaranteeing ideal conditions for driving. But it is also worth visiting the town in summer. Livigno is the perfect destination for fans of all kinds of outdoor activities. The area is famous for its excellent bicycle routes - from family routes to slightly more extreme bike parks concentrated around. There are also approx. 1,500 km of walking routes marked out here, which will allow you to reach numerous, exceptionally picturesque places. And if you want to relax, you can go to Lake Livigno , where you can rent water equipment or just laze on its shores.

For whom?

Livigno is, above all, a dream destination for skiers . Do you like skiing? Then you should plan your winter holidays in this Italian resort. Excellent infrastructure, well-prepared slopes and fairly certain weather are a guarantee of a successful holiday. In Livigno you will also like it in summer, especially when you like cycling and hiking in the mountains.

Hotel Galli

While in Livigno, my girlfriend and I stayed at the Galli Hotel. This facility made a positive impression on us from the very beginning. It is quite an intimate and very cozy place that offers a homely atmosphere. The service was very nice and friendly. Room nice. The breakfasts were good, nothing special, but there was nothing to complain about.

Hotel La Pastorella

I can truly recommend Hotel La Pastorella with a clear conscience. Its main advantage, apart from great architecture, is its location in the very center of the resort. Close to restaurants/shops and ski lifts. There is an excellent restaurant on site - finger licking good! I will definitely come back here.

Alpino Lodge Bivio

Alpino Lodge is an option for keen skiers because it is located above Livigno, in the mountains, right next to the slopes. Views – first class! The room was spacious, cleaned every day, and the bathroom was nice too. The hotel restaurant is great - tasty breakfasts and lunches.

Hotel Piccolo Tibet

A great hotel with a very high standard. It is located close to the main promenade. It is also close to the ski slopes. It has an underground parking lot, so you don't have to worry about where to leave your car. Our apartment was very large and tastefully decorated. We really liked the breakfasts.

Alpen Resort Bivio

We spent a week in Alpen Village. The hotel fully met our expectations. It is very modernly decorated. It has a great outdoor heated swimming pool. So you can use it in winter. The Teola-Pianoni Bassi cable car station is right next to it. An ideal option for skiers.
