Off the trail in Iceland

If you're one of the people who don't like the beaten track, you might want to change directions a bit and see places that aren't visited by too many people. At the very beginning, go to Thingvellir , which, apart from the national park, also has the beautiful Silfra fissure and the Laugarvatnshellar Cave . Then, while others go to the Skogafoss waterfall, you can go to the oldest Seljavallalaug swimming pool , which was built in 1923. And when you visit the country's capital, stray a little off the road to go to Hvalvatn , which is often forgotten because of its waterfall.
