Bamberg

Autorka, Travelbay
Situated on seven hills, Bamberg is Germany's best-preserved medieval city . Untouched by bombing by the Allies, historic tenement houses, palaces and churches, combined with a network of canals that surround the city and vast, green gardens create an extremely charming landscape. The three historic districts of the city - Bergstadt, Inselstadt and Gärtnerstadt - were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1993.
