The city of bridges, The capital of wine, The most elegant city in the world - Bordeaux is sometimes called differently, and each of these terms perfectly reflects its atmosphere. Surrounded by vineyards, it creates a stunning architectural mosaic in which the gems of the eighteenth century architecture mix with modern buildings. Is there any other place in France that can face Paris ?

Recommended accomodations
Here are the accommodations that we can recommend with a clear conscience. We only recommend hotels that we have visited ourselves.

La Course
La Course is a charming guesthouse, located outside the city center, but generally very close to it. I was delighted with its beautiful decor and the view from the roof terrace, where there was also a small swimming pool. This place will certainly meet the expectations of more demanding people. And the breakfasts are a real showcase of the chef's culinary skills.

Hôtel de Sèze & Spa Bordeaux Centre
If someone would like to stay in the very center of Bordeaux, this is the hotel. Elegance, class, style - this is how it can be briefly described. I spent two nights here and was pleased with everything. Both from my room (very comfortable bed) and from the service and meals.

Quality Hotel Bordeaux Centre
Because we wanted to taste wine, take walks and feel the atmosphere of the city, we stayed in the very center. Our choice fell on Quality Hotel. It is located in a historic, 19th-century, beautifully renovated residence. It is exclusive, but at the same time the price is "for people".

Mercure Bordeaux Cité Mondiale Centre Ville
Great location - right by the river and close to the historic part of the city. The view from the room positively surprised me. Good conditions, rather typical for hotels of this brand. Clean, tidy and very professional service. I was pleased with my stay.

Villa Victor Louis - Bordeaux Centre
Phenomenal place to stay in Bordeaux. One of the most interesting and nicer hotels I stayed in during my tour of France. Beautiful building, charming garden, peaceful atmosphere despite the central location. Magnificent interiors, filled with furniture and accessories that give them an elegant and very chic style.
