<p>The answer to this question is simple – <strong>off-season!</strong> Mainly for two reasons. First of all, in July and August, Krka National Park is under siege. Secondly, at this time you will pay an exorbitant amount for the entrance ticket. First of all, there are 5 main entrances to it: Skradin, Lozovac, Roski Slap, Kistanje, Burnum. First of all, <strong>cruise ships belonging to the park sail</strong> from Skradin to the Skradinski Buk waterfall. To use this means of transport, you must present an entrance ticket. If you are coming by car, it is best <strong>to park in the parking lot next to the Lozovac entrance</strong> , from where, during the peak season, tourists are transported to the park by free buses. Another interesting option for active people is <strong>a walk or bike ride along the path</strong> from Skradin to Skradinski Buk. It is approximately 3.5 km long.</p>

When to visit Krka?

During your visit, you will be able to see an interesting archaeological collection, a collection of liturgical vestments and vessels, as well as <strong>an impressive library</strong> with many historical manuscripts and books. However, the island owes its popularity primarily to the Church of Our Lady, which is highly revered. The stay on the island (as part of the cruise) usually lasts about 30-40 minutes. The island itself is very similar to the one on Lake <a href="https://brate.com/pl/europa/slowenia/bled/">Bled</a> .</p><h3> Krka Monastery </h3><figure id="attachment_71597" class="wp-caption alignleft hero-image"><img class="size-medium wp-image-71597" src="https://media.brate.com/images/europa/chorwacja/krka/krka-monastery.jpeg?tr=n-hero" alt="Krka Monastery" width="500" height="326"><figcaption class="caption"> Monastir, Krka, Croatia - © Brate</figcaption></figure><p> <strong>Krka Monastery The Holy Archangel</strong> is located 3.5 km east of the town of Kistanje and the entrance to the park located there. It was first mentioned at the beginning of the 15th century. The complex includes a church and Roman catacombs open to visitors. Excursion cruises to the Roški Slap waterfall are also organized from here. <strong>Attention!</strong> Cruises take place from May to October.</p>

Attractions of Krka Park

<p><strong>The Krka National Park</strong> , next to Plitvice, is <strong>one of the most popular Croatian attractions, not directly related to the coast</strong> . It is located north of <a href="https://brate.com/europe/croatia/sibenik/">Šibenik</a> and covers the exceptionally beautiful <strong>gorge of the Krka and Čikola rivers</strong> . I highly recommend staying overnight in Skradin at Wine Garden Rooms. Perfect location - right on the seafront. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Additionally, you can go to Krka National Park on foot. An ideal place for walkers and those who do not like big cities.

An excellent choice for people looking for relatively cheap accommodation. Malin Guesthouse is located on the main road through Skradin. The rooms are tiny, but it&#39;s bearable for one or two nights. No luxuries, but for this money it&#39;s not surprising.
