Travnik

Located northwest of Sarajevo , Travnik is perhaps not the most touristic point on the map of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Which does not change the fact that it is quite an interesting place. Some of the monuments located there, such as the ruins of the fortress , are really noteworthy. And it takes literally an hour or two to see all the most interesting attractions of Travnik.

For whom?

The inconspicuous Travnik will appeal to fans of mighty fortresses , Ottoman architecture and the works of Ivo Andrić. The city is also an ideal destination for those who like less crowded destinations.

When to visit Travnik?

Basically, it doesn't matter whether you decide to visit Travnik in spring, summer, fall or winter. Regardless of the season, the city looks similar . With the difference that in winter it can be heavily covered by snow.
