Velipoj

Velipoja is a seaside resort located close to the border with Montenegro . Until recently, hardly anyone came here. But for several years now, thanks to a strong expansion, Velipoja has been developing dynamically. Mainly Albanians, Montenegrins and Kosovars come here, while tourists from slightly further corners of Europe and the world are rarely met here. The advantage of the town is a long, sandy beach, low prices and a typical Albanian climate.

For whom?

Velipoja is the perfect place for those on a budget . It's easy to find cheap or even completely free accommodation. Because on the stretch of the beach to the south of the city, you can camp in the wild without any problems (as long as you turn a blind eye to the rubbish littering everywhere and herds of pigs running around). The prices in the local restaurants and pubs are also very affordable.
