Porto Palermo

One of the most interesting places of the Albanian Riviera is undoubtedly Porto Palermo. This name covers a charming rocky cove with a small beach and the fortress of Panormos (also known as Porto Palermo or Ali Pasha) on the peninsula. In the northern part of the bay, there are remains of a Soviet naval base, which was later taken over by the Albanian army.
