Maracaibo is a city in Venezuela lying on the lake of the same name. It is such a small Kuwait, because it is the same center of oil extraction from the bottom of the lake. The spot was discovered by a fellow Columbus who accidentally swam into the lake's basin. Due to the huge profits from the sale of crude oil, the city is one of the best-run and cleanest cities in Venezuela. Maracaibo is beautified every day. The city's architecture is a combination of modernity with the colonial past. Picturesque, colorful churches are noteworthy, the most famous of which is the Church of Santa Barbara . A huge, concrete structure, i.e. the Rafael Urdaneta Bridge, towers over the waters of Lake Maracaibo . He absorbed huge resources, but it is really impressive. One of the greatest attractions in the region is the lights of Catatumbo .
