Caracas is undoubtedly a contrasting city. The three-million-strong capital of Venezuela has many faces. Both the highly cosmopolitan and a bit darker ones. You've surely heard the opinion that Caracas is not the safest place in the country . If you don't venture into slums and stick to the more touristy places, then you should be able to draw on the attractions there.

And among them you will find, among others Iglesia Santa Capil la with neo-Gothic architecture, Simon Bolivar Mausoleum, National Art Gallery and Los Caobos Park. In addition to learning about the history of Caracas, it also allows you to get acquainted with Venezuelan cuisine, which is served by numerous restaurants scattered around its center. In the evenings, however, you will be able to drop by one of the clubs or one of the pubs, which are designed more for tourists and allow you to have fun safely in an international company.

For whom?

If you would like to learn more about Venezuela, its history and culture , then definitely plan a visit to Caracas. However, you must remember about security considerations. Don't mess around, don't venture into poorer neighborhoods, don't carry all the cash you have with you, and use recommended taxi companies after dark to move around the city. So you could say that Caracas is a city for the brave. And if you don't run out of courage, you will also be able to see what partying in the Venezuelan capital looks like.

HOTEL CHACAO SUITES

I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel twice during my business visits to Caracas. It is located in the central part of the city. It is quite a modern facility, occupying the interior of a glazed, tall building. Very good conditions. Rather typical hotel standard without any big surprises. Fast WiFi, efficient airport pick-up.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. What can we say about him? First of all, the great location, allowing you to get to know the city better. Secondly, excellent breakfasts are served here. Thirdly, the price was reasonable and not outrageous. We had a good time living there.

I was tempted to stay at the Waldorf Hotel in Caracas by positive reviews on the Internet. I wasn't disappointed. It actually offers great value for money. Additionally, it is located in a good district, close to both the capital's attractions and restaurants and pubs. I was very impressed by the terrace with a swimming pool and beautiful plants, as well as the views from there!

Large, modern hotel in the center of Caracas. I remember my stay there well. Very nice, incredibly helpful staff. In addition, great conditions - large room, nice view, comfortable bed, clean and cozy. There is an excellent restaurant on site, although a bit expensive. The disadvantages - very poor WiFi.
