Canaima National Park (Parque Nacional Canaima) is located in southeastern Venezuela, right on the border with Brazil and Guyana. It covers a huge area of 30,000 km² , which is as much as Belgium or Armenia. Due to its unique biodiversity and magnificent landscapes, this area was under protection as a national park, and a few years later it was under the protection of UNESCO . What is Canaima's uniqueness?

First of all, it is here that you can admire the table mountains, which occupy 65% of the entire protected area. The most famous point of the park is Roraima, situated at the border triangle. In addition, in the Canaima National Park you can see the highest waterfall in the world . Angel Falls (Salto Angelo) , fall into the famous Devil's Canyon, is 1000 m high! You will also find smaller waterfalls, lagoons and brilliant trekking areas.
