Trujillo is called " the city of eternal spring " in Peru. Mainly due to the mild climate, which additionally guarantees plenty of sunny days throughout the year. First of all , it is the second oldest Spanish city in Peru . Interestingly, it owes its name to Francisco Pizarro, who decided to name the developing town after his place of birth in Spain. As a result, Trujillo is found in both Europe and South America. The Peruvian city offers a lot of monuments, mainly churches from the colonial era. Trujillo is also a great base for visiting the amazing ruins of Chan Chan - a city built entirely of clay bricks.
