Cali , while not usually on Colombia's top places to visit lists, should be of interest to you. Mainly if you love to dance. This Colombian city lives, breathes and feeds on one main rhythm. Namely ... with the salsa rhythm . Music and dance are inseparable elements of the local existence. However, man does not live by play alone. Cali also offers tourists some interesting monuments and museums.

I love salsa and I knew from my dancer friends that if I was in Cali, I would stay at Viajero Hostel Cali & Salsa School. An absolutely unique place, especially if someone likes to dance, have fun and meet new people. There are free salsa lessons every evening. There is a swimming pool in the garden, the rooms are nicely decorated and equipped. Cheap.

This hotel is worth recommending, especially if you are looking for places of a really high standard. It is expensive, but the quality is worth paying for. Anyway, I didn't regret stopping there. Beautiful architecture of the building, swimming pool, well-kept plants. My room was spacious and decorated very tastefully. Excellent meals.

In Cali, I had the opportunity to stay at the MS Pacifico Chipichape hotel. It offers modern, spacious and bright interiors. Everything is new, sparkling clean and very well-kept. WiFi works efficiently, the service is professional and nice, and the breakfasts are good.

In Cali, I can recommend the charming Tostaky guesthouse, full of colors and good energy. It is located in the old town, where you can feel the colonial spirit. Close to San Antonio Park and the most important monuments of the city. The interiors are decorated in a homely style, which guarantees a cozy aura. Breakfasts are paid extra, but very cheap and exceptionally good.

I had the pleasure of spending two nights at the Casa Vallecaucana hotel. It is an intimate facility with a modern design and a slightly artistic atmosphere. The rooms and common spaces are bright and interestingly arranged. One of my better accommodations during my tour of Colombia.
