Puerto Natales

Puerto Natales is known as the gateway to the Torre del Paines National Park . It is therefore an excellent starting point for those who plan to hike among the soaring peaks of this famous corner of Chile. Definitely go up the Dorotea hill , which offers a beautiful panorama of Puerto Natales and the surrounding area. Take a cruise to get a closer look at the Ultima Esperanza Fjord . Another curiosity is the Milodon cave . It was there that in 1985 the remains of a giant earth sloth, called Mylodon Darwin, were discovered.
