Matogrossense

The Pantanal Matogrossense swamps extend across Bolivia, Brazil and Paraguay. The gate to this place is the small town of Pocone, from which Transpantaneira comes out . It is a legendary road that traverses the marshland. It ends in Porto Jorfe . Pantanal has one of the cleanest fresh waters on the continent.

The symbol of the park is Tuiuiu , a bird that can reach almost 1.5 meters wingspan. Almost 650 species of birds , 200 species of fish and 80 mammals live in the Pantanal Matogrossense park alone. The best time to visit the park is from May to September. This is the dry season. Do not forget to change the clock, because in Mato Grosso condition the time is one hour behind Brazil .

For whom?

It will appeal to all lovers of nature, wild game and places difficult for tourists. You can organize trips to the park from Cuiaba, Campo Grande and Corumba. I recommend the latter two as it is cheaper and the guides will take you further into the park.
