Rurrenabaque

Rurrenabaque , called Rurre for short, is a great base for the Bolivian part of the Amazon. Right next to it, there is the phenomenal Madidi National Park , which will delight you with amazing views and wild nature. Rurrenabaque itself is very popular among backpackers. But mostly among them, because the bus journey from La Paz here takes a good few hours, and the city is also not known what kind of metropolis.

These "inconveniences" scare away some tourists. It is true that the historic center hides some interesting objects, but it is not for them that you look here. Nature is the main decoy.
