It extends to the east and southeast of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. It is Bolivia's largest national park and is also administered by indigenous people. Kaa-Iya protects not only jaguars, but also the largest area of dry forest in the world.

There are also 65 small and 59 large species of mammals here. You can meet here, among others howlers, capybaras, ocelots , but also birds (over 300 different species have been counted).
