Cordillera Real

Cordillera Real is an amazing range stretching east and northeast of La Paz, which is part of the Andes chain. An interesting story is associated with the name of these mountains. Well, when the Spanish colonizers found themselves in this corner of Bolivia, they were to be so impressed with him that they named him Cordillera Real (where real means royal in this context).

Currently, these mountains are a popular trekking destination for people from all over the world. What attracts them here?
