Tucuman , or more precisely San Miguel de Tucumán, is the fifth largest city in Argentina. Although you probably haven't heard of it, you should still drop by, if only for a day. First of all, because Tucuman is the cradle of Argentinian independence. It was here, in 1816, that a congress was held, during which the country's independence was proclaimed.

You will learn more about this event during a visit to the museum - Casa Histórica de la Independencia . It is worth taking the guided tour option. Another noteworthy place is Casa Del Obispo Colombres , which houses the Museum of the Sugar Industry. One of the most important economic branches of Tucuman, for many years, was the cultivation of sugar cane. The city also has several nice parks, and in the evenings you will be able to spend time in one of the bars there.

For whom?

If you are fascinated by the history of the countries you visit, then be sure to plan your stay in Tucuman. This is where you will learn how Argentina achieved independence. There are several museums in the city that present the history of the city.

Hilton Garden Inn Tucuman

In Tucuman we stayed at a hotel belonging to the Hilton chain. Contrary to appearances, it was not the most expensive accommodation option in the city. And the conditions were really great. It may not look impressive from the outside, but inside it has modern, pleasantly decorated interiors. The room was of a typical standard, neat and clean.
Sheraton Tucumán Hotel

Sheraton Tucumán Hotel

I spent a total of two nights at the Sheraton Hotel in Tucuman. This is a place worth recommending. It is located in the city center, right next to the park. You can admire the green trees from the windows. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool. The room is spacious and bright.
Hotel Bicentenario Suites & Spa

Hotel Bicentenario Suites & Spa

I highly recommend this hotel. It is located in the heart of Tucuman, so it allows you to feel the atmosphere of the city. It offers excellent conditions. An added value is the swimming pool on the roof, from where you can admire a nice panorama of the area. The price, considering the really high standard, was very favorable.
Hotel Le Park
Very good

Hotel Le Park

Hotel Le Park is a good option for one night. It is located practically in the very center. It is inexpensive, and the conditions there are really top five with a big plus. There is also a small outdoor swimming pool, which was a relief during the hot weather. I had no complaints about the room or breakfast.
