Salta is located in the north of Argentina . It is a cosmopolitan city bustling with life. What distinguishes Salta? First of all , colonial architecture . While strolling around its center, you will not only be able to see interesting buildings, but also visit numerous museums. One of the most intriguing is the Museum of Altitude Archeology , which focuses on Inca culture and the Andes.

When exploring Salta, be sure to make time for a gondola ride (Teleferico), which will take you above the city's buildings. Thanks to this, you will be able to look at the entire city and the surrounding area from a much wider perspective. You will also like Salta after dark, when the pubs there are filled with music and chatter.

For whom?

Salta, as the capital of the province of the same name, is an excellent starting point for exploring the northwest of Argentina . Due to its location at an altitude of 1,200 m above sea level, it will appeal to people who prefer walking and admiring the views. It's also a great option if you like to visit and explore the city by day and night.

Ayres De Salta Hotel

I highly recommend the Ayres Hotel in Salta. It is a high-class facility that offers, among others: rooftop swimming pool. The view from there is really beautiful. The room was large, furnished to hotel standards, neat and comfortable. Plus a central location and an affordable price.

Hotel San Francisco

I had the opportunity to spend one night at the San Francisco hotel. I can recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the center of Salta. It's quite intimate and cozy. There is a small swimming pool in the garden, but enough to cool off and relax.

Hotel Colonial Salta

Hotel Colonial occupies a 19th-century building in the heart of Salta. Incredible climate. I could fully feel the atmosphere of the city. The room was quite large, with a huge, very comfortable bed. Tasty breakfasts, with a large selection of products and dishes. Competitive price.

Hotel Inkai

Hotel Inkai 100% met my expectations. First of all, it is located in the center of Salta. Restaurants, bars and shops can be found in the immediate vicinity. Excellent breakfast, parking right next to the hotel, friendly staff, quick and efficient check-in and check-out.

Casa Real Hotel

My wife and I spent three nights here and we can confidently recommend this hotel. It is located right next to the very center. The room was an appropriate size and was very carefully cleaned. The service was very nice, smiling and willing to help. The hotel also has a swimming pool. Not too big, but nice to relax a bit.
