Pinamar

Pinamar is a typical resort located 350 km south of Buenos Aires. The city was founded in 1944. The originator behind the creation of Pinamar was the architect Jorge Bunge . It was he who came up with the idea of how to tame nature, and more precisely, moving dunes. He concluded that the area should be planted with pine trees and other plants to prevent the sand from shifting.
