There are two places in Mexico under the name Puebla . First of all, the state located east of Mexico City, and secondly, its capital. Puebla de Zaragoza , because we are talking about it, is a thoroughly interesting city. And all this is due to numerous monuments, including buildings with beautiful colonial architecture. The most important attractions include the Amparo Museum, Loreto and Guadalupe forts and the amazing Santo Domingo temple .

Puebla, due to its cultural and historical values, was under the protection of UNESCO . There is also an interesting legend connected with this city. Well, according to her, Puebla was founded by ... angels who were to mark its streets or put a bell on the cathedral tower. One thing is certain - the Mexican city of angels is worth visiting to get carried away by the atmosphere that prevails here.

For whom?

Puebla is a popular destination for the so-called religious tourism . So if you like visiting churches, monasteries or places of worship in general, you will have plenty to do in this city. Pueble is also a good destination for gourmands . The city has a large number of high-class restaurants, but also smaller street food bars, where you can taste dishes such as chiles en nogada.

Recommended accomodations

Here are the accommodations that we can recommend with a clear conscience. We only recommend hotels that we have visited ourselves.

Hotel Santiago

Well, I guess you can't live more centrally in Puebla. The hotel is close to the cathedral. You can also see it from the hotel terrace. What surprised me the most was that the price of the stay was ridiculously low. And as part of it, you received not only a perfect location, but also great conditions.

Gente de Más Bnb

If you visit Puebla, be sure to stay at the Gente de Mas guesthouse/hostel. This is probably one of the nicest and nicer places during my tour of Mexico. It is located close to the center and the most interesting attractions. Charming, well-kept, colorful interiors. You can choose between shared or private rooms. Price - very low.
Hotel Rincón Poblano

Hotel Rincón Poblano

Hotel Rincon Pablano absolutely met our expectations. The place is beautiful and very surprising. Of course, we chose it because it was one of the cheaper ones. The interiors are extremely tastefully decorated. And very elegant. The team working at the reception are great and friendly people who are willing to help. 5 min walk to the very center.

Milagro Hotel

I spent two nights at the Milagro hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and the beauty of this intimate facility. Bright, modern but with a touch of tradition interior design. Excellent meals. Great attention to cleanliness and almost every detail. Value for money: five stars, a big plus.
NH Puebla Centro Histórico

NH Puebla Centro Histórico

I recommend this hotel for several reasons. First of all, it has a swimming pool, which was beneficial in the hot summer. The hotel itself is rather standard in terms of interior design and service. It's correct, clean, good. Its location allows you to explore the city on foot.
