Guadalajara is located in the central part of Mexico, close to its west coast. The name of the city can be translated as "Stone Valley". Guadalajara was ranked sixth on the list of the top ten cities in Mexico as well as Central and South America. What makes it such an interesting place? It is the cultural center of the country , considered the cradle of mariachi music, but most of all it hosts many cultural events, such as the International Film Festival.

Here are the accommodations that we can recommend with a clear conscience. We only recommend hotels that we have visited ourselves.

Riu Plaza Guadalajara

We stayed at the Riu Plaza hotel for two nights. We must admit that it was an excellent choice. The view of the entire city from the windows of our room was stunning - both during the day and at night. There is a swimming pool, two restaurants and a bar on site. The location was great too. And the price is surprisingly quite affordable.

Hotel Real Maestranza

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the most important attractions of Guadalajara. You can walk everywhere from there. The conditions were excellent - clean, spacious interior. Bright room, decorated in a quite modern style. The breakfasts were delicious. The service is nice, helpful and proactive.

Hotel de Mendoza is an elegant, beautiful hotel in the historic part of Guadalajara. It offers a courtyard with a swimming pool. The room was great - neat and comfortable. Everywhere nearby. Reasonable price. So I 100% recommend it.

Hotel Real de Castilla

The Real de Castilla hotel charmed us with the beauty of its architecture. Elegant, but without pomp. The location was also important. It's in the very center, so you can get everywhere without using public transport. As for the stay conditions, they also met our expectations. It was perfect.

Hotel Isabel

I stayed at Hotel Isabel for 2 nights. Located close to the center. Beautiful interiors - lots of greenery, nice accessories and furniture. Outside there is a swimming pool and a small relaxation area. The room is not too big, not too small. Comfortable bed. Low price. To sum up - I was very satisfied.
