Costa Maya
Autor, Brate
Costa Maya has a stretch of coastline between Sian Ka'an in the north and Xcalak in the south. It is about 100 km long and although it is adjacent to the very popular Riviera Maya, it is ... much more unspoiled and less touristic. Of course, over the last few years, more and more hotels are also being built, but there are still relatively few of them. That is why Costa Maya is liked by those who are looking for peace, close contact with nature and places off the main tourist routes.

Of course, epic, empty beaches await you here. You will find numerous places for diving or swimming on all kinds of water equipment. You will be within a stone's throw of attractions such as Lago Bacalar or the Mayan ruins of Chacchoben, Dzibanche, Kohunlich, Becan and Chicann. The best resorts within Costa Maya are the previously mentioned Sian Ka'an and Xcalak.
For whom?
Costa Maya is the perfect destination if you dream of a quiet holiday without the crowds of tourists. There are not too many resorts here, and those that are, do not storm huge numbers of vacationers. Costa Maya is also a great proposition for active people who, in particular, like all kinds of water sports. On the other hand, sunbathers can enjoy a varied and beautiful coastline.
