Chinchorro Banco is one of the most unusual places in Mexico. It is the largest coral atoll in the country. It is located in front of the small town of Mahahual, which is the best base for exploring Chinchorro Banco. Researchers have identified about 2,500 different species belonging to both flora and fauna that live in the atoll.

You can see here, among others rays, lobsters, whiskered sharks and turtles. However, the real attraction of Chinchorro Banco are ... sunken ships. There are as many as 68 of them here! Some are even several hundred years old. This makes the atoll one of the most popular diving sites in Mexico. Chinchorro Banco is also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve .

For whom?

Do you like diving and are you looking for a new, exciting place for your underwater adventures? Then you must visit Chinchorro Banco. This is where you will be able to swim among the amazing coral reef and visit sunken ships.
