Santiago de los Caballeros

Santiago De Los Caballeros is the second largest city in the Dominican Republic. Due to its slightly more central location, there are no heavenly beaches waiting for you here. But Santiago De Los Caballeros has other advantages. First of all, it is an important economic center of the country - mainly the tobacco industry. Santiago De Los Caballeros also acts as an academic center.

The symbol of the city is the obelisk over 60 meters high - a monument erected for all heroes fighting for the independence of the Dominican Republic. However, it is a good place to go shopping or arrange some formalities.
